Crazy Weston...

He strikes again...Weston is always pushing the envelope on fun - not only is he so into any kind of sport balls, trains, making funny noises at Kate to make her laugh, trying to be a big boy like Max...Weston also has a keen fashion style...accessories are KEY for this little guy - hats, sunglasses, shoes - you name it he loves it. Here's a photo of Weston with his rain boots...how fun!

Choo Choo!

Fun times...we went to the B&O Railroad in Baltimore yesterday...needless to say my train loving boys had a blast!

First Subway Ride and Visit to the National Zoo

Our summer adventures continue with a few "firsts" for the kids...we went to the National Zoo and the kids went on their first subway ride! Needless to say...both were very exciting - but I was amazed at how good the boys were on the Metro...they sat there and just kept asking a ton of questions. As usual, Kate was a great companion on our adventures always being super sweet and easy going!

Summer Vacations!

We have been having a fun summer so far...time is flying fast - but we've been able to make some amazing memories over the past month. The kids and I went to visit family for two weeks - we went boating, swimming, fishing, were in a Fourth of July parade and had a lot of fun with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins!

Kate Plays!

Kate had a fun day...she had her first play date! Kate's friend Marley came over to play today (Marley is two months older). It was amazing to see the girls really interact with eachother - I guess this is what happens when you are the third! The most interesting one was Weston - he was amazed to see a baby in motion (Marley is crawling). This is the begining of what I call "girl time" - in my opinion a very importart part of any girl/woman's life...girlfriends are the best and much needed for all of life's major adventures!

Underwear Boy!

So long story short...since Weston wants to be just like Max this should not surprise me. The other morning he told me had to go potty...so against all my will I decided to put him on the toilet, needless to say we just missed the "act" - but I took this opportunity to explain that if he went potty on the toilet he could wear big boy underwear like Max. Weston then took his diaper off and said, "underwear". So I went downstairs and found some of Max's old ones...Weston proudly selected the Elmo ones, then wanted his shirt off - where Max says, "you're going to be cold" - that's Max always very practical! So there Weston was pajamas off - Elmo on and he noticed there was one more pair laying there...so he proudly put them on his head...the lesson here is "why waste, use what you have". Weston proceeded to wear both pairs of underwear for the next 45 minutes until he had an accident...then the diaper went back on. So we'll see where this goes!

Memorial Weekend Fun!

A great family weekend...we went to a baseball game (Weston and Kate's first game), had a fun cookout and enjoyed some great times with friends at the pool! Weston loved clapping during the entire game; and Max was just excited to get a big thing of popcorn all to himself!
